You have to get the same trim, remove the old one, and apply new one with Butyl tape underneath and then caulk around it when it is installed.

Metal is ordered from an RV Dealer which gets it from the RV Manufacturers. As far as edging is concerned everything is sealed with Butyl Tape then the exterior trim is put on, then sealed with RV Caulking. We can order windows in generally any shape and size for you.

Very difficult to asses without seeing it Michael. Leaks can develop feet, even yards, away from where they actually show up. if you email us at goodliferv@glrv.com we can start communicating about it with a Service Advisor.

Some are 2" x 2" and some are 1.5" x 1.5". I think 2x2 is most common.

Generally, we repair/Replace rotten wood from the INSIDE of the camper. The techs even take of Cabinets and Cupboards along with interior paneling to replace them. But if you must take off the siding, it isn't that difficult, just pulling staples. But make sure you keep them in order to replace them. The hard part is you may have to take off the WHOLE side of the camper to just get to the parts you need to fix. Use Butyl to seal all windows and seams, and caulk around all the outside fixtures in addition.

All of us here have not heard of anyone having any problems. Reading reviews I have not even seen any negative comments. We do carry that Anti Rattle kit that helps with any vibrations and we have also had people with the extra ratchet strap on the top to help. The latest craze is the pool noodles around the bars so the kayaks are not dinged up.

Very neat idea. Im interested. Just a couple questions.... Why doesn't he make the bar a tad bigger or the receiver part a little smaller so a person doesn't have to buy an extra piece to compensate for that play?? Also what kind of paint process is being used? And one observation....is that by having the kayaks facing forward while driving....that is like a big windsock causing tons of drag on your truck and camper. Why not turn them rear facing? Don't tell me that the design won't allow that?! LoL And can someone answer all these peoples questions? Seems like nobody but one person got a response.

The only way it would be adjustable is if you use an Extended receiver tube. You should be able to move the spare time mounting bracket, those are movable.

What kind of mount did you have. I use a Curt Class 3 and a Thule 2” receiver 4 bike rack and have never had a problem.

@@bigeyejim The thin metal bumper ripped right off the brackets bolted to the frame. Too much leverage ripped the hollow bumper welds. The bike rack stayed bolted to the bumper as it dragged down the road. I had to reinforce the bracket and surface area for the weld, and also put a strap up top to keep the rack from bouncing so much.

FOR A WAY TO MEASURE THAT YOUR KAYAK WILL FIT TRY THIS: CUT OUT A 17" WIDE BY 11.5" DEEP HOLE IN SOME CARDBOARD AND SLIDE OVER THE END OF THE KAYAK, IT SHOULD FIT APPROX. 8-12" ATLEAST ...THIS IS THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE 2 SEPERATE SPOTS ON THE KAYAK RACK THAT THEY FIT DOWN INTO

The kayak rack inserts into any standard 2" receiver. The bottom cradle has adjustments up and down to set for ground clearance.

There are SO many variables. Like availability of the siding, size of camper, how many sides, how many attachments to the camper. So a rough range could be anywhere from $8k-$20k.

Doing well, JK. RV Dealers have access to OEM Aluminum siding, that is the only place I know to get it. Camp Happy!

RV Siding goes on the opposite of house siding, installation is from the top to bottom. And yes they over lap, actually it like an Under lap.

Usually only 1 side of a camper is damaged, and on average the long side of the camper siding is around $3,500 to repair.

On top of the dangerous hitch bolt, he has a heavy, heavy truck tire mounted on that light bumper!! Whole bumper will tear off during driving. Super stupid.
